Web Application Framework

The Web Application Framework supports the development and integration of Java-based web applications. It is part of the infrastructure deliverable D6.8, and comprises: an application-independent core, which incorporates a dataspace “backbone” for coordination and persistence; a data-driven interface component, which can support authoring, configuration and monitoring views on the core dataspace; and a general-purpose SMS client component, which allows SMSs to be sent and received via a range of 3rd party SMS gateways. The Tool support for the Web Application Framework adds further elements for: pre-game support for content authoring; in-game support for orchestration, monitoring and management; and post-game support for analysis and review.
