The AR based games solution packageThe AR based games solution package is targeted at pervasive games exploiting rich media combined with virtual and augmented environments. This type of games requires real-time communication, real-time high quality 3D rendering output and very accurate user input devices and highly accurate user tracking in order to fully immerse the player into the environment. The package is made of a set of tools and C++ libraries that can be used to build, debug and run distributed, AR based pervasive games. The main software component is the Morgan AR/VR platform from FIT. Examples of IPerG games that has been built using the AR games solution package include Epidemic Menace and The Alcemist Due to the current licensing model of Morgan, the solution package software components are not direcly downloadable from this site. However, it's possible to download the package documentation via this link. In order to obtain a distribution of the software components, you need to aquire a license from FIT. In general, the license is free for academic use. For commercial use it's is necessary to pay a license fee which are subject to individual negotiations and usually include support provided by FIT.
