Wizard's Apprentice

The computer-augmented board game Wizard's Apprentice allowed children and an adult to share the social experience of playing a board game while at the same time allowing the adult to participate in other activities. By using custom-built sensors and a projector, the game showed and keeped track of how the children's characters, apprentices, explored a fantastical kingdom in search for a spreading menace. The adult, in the role of a Wizard, can cheers the apprentices on and can structure their experience by how quests are given out.
